Following the sad news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s passing, please be advised that the St Peter Port Drop In due to take place tomorrow at Beau Sejour, has been cancelled. The Seafront Sunday has also been cancelled but the road will stay closed for the time being.

Book of Condolence

Following the sad news of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's passing, we have a Book of Condolence in the foyer of the Constables Office, Lefebvre Street which members of the public may wish to sign. The door will be open on Saturday from 10am - 4pm and Monday to Friday 9am - 2pm.

Picnic Benches

We are delighted with our new picnic benches at Cambridge Park. They have been built and supplied by the Guernsey Prison Service and are almost maintenance free ! There is also access for wheelchairs and buggies. Please let us know what you think.

New Douzeniers

We are very pleased to welcome the following two new douzeniers who were sworn in this morning - Lisa Vahy who completes the term of Tim Bush until December 2024 and Chris Hudson who will complete the term of Jacqui Gallienne until December 2022. We are delighted to have you both on board - Lisa as a returning douzenier and Chris who will be experiencing his first taste of how the parish works.

August Drop In

NEWS RELEASE Friday 12th August 2022 Parishioners invited to comment on Parish issues. St Peter Port parishioners have the opportunity to discuss any issues or concerns at the next Parish drop-in session being held at the Valette Bathing Pool on Saturday 13 August between 10.00 and 12 noon. Douzenier Mary McDermott said “We really hope that parishioners take this opportunity to share their opinions and ideas regarding Parish’s matters. Our team are dedicated to the upkeep and enhancement of the parish and the feedback and comments we receive from our parishioners help us to achieve this. We are always interested to listen to representatives of other organisations to see how we can come together for the better of the parish. However, all are welcome to come along.’ As always Douzeniers will be on hand to discuss a variety of issues pertinent to the Parish. Diary Date – the next drop-in session on 9th September will be held in the Beau Sejour foyer at the usual time of 10.00 – 12 noon.

Music Soirée - Royal Northern College of Music - Quartet - 20th July

We are trying something new to support our local community … periodic music events! St Peter Port parishioners and ratepayers are welcomed to a string quartet concert to be held Wednesday, 20th July, at 5.30pm for 6pm start, at the St Peter Port Constables' Office. The Brock Room. £10 for a snack, and drinks, and a recommended £5 retiring donation for the student musicians. The leader is Jacob Wright (violin) who is known to the community through his musical work at Elizabeth College and at St James, and through the Music Service. He returns from a leading U.K. music conservatoire the Royal Northern College of Music with three talented string colleagues all of whom are undergraduates studying performance.
