St Peter Port Hosts Final Drop-in of the Year

Fri 10 Dec 2021

Following on from a highly successful evening drop-in, the St Peter Port douzaine will be hosting its final drop-in of the year on Saturday 11 December at the Constables’ office from 10am – 12 noon.

The doors will be open to all parishioners who wish to air their views on matters pertinent to the parish.

Drop-in coordinator and douzenier Mary McDermott said the morning would be the ideal opportunity for people to voice their opinions.

‘There is much to discuss at the moment including matters such as the town regeneration, or the Pitronnerie Road development proposals.  People can also come to us with other topics such as street lighting, rubbish collections or anti-social behaviour.

“We’re here to lend an ear and where possible offer advice.  Otherwise, we will take ideas onboard and go away to try and find solutions.

“I really do encourage people to pop in for a chat and voice their opinions.  After all if it is important to them, it is important to us.”
